Windows 8.1 Incontrol App
A function Windows 8.1 App that could be used in all versions of Windows 8 including windows 8.1 RT. Would be nice to have windows 8.1 app that could be used on Windows 8 tablets such as the Surface, and Surface 2.

Add a category for Window Blinds (or Shutter)
More than half of my zwave devices are window blinds or shutters, or awnings, which include sunlight sensors so as to part close at bright times of the day/year. The InControl software should recognise this type of device and provide open/close functionality... currently it is detected as a dimmer switch - the functionality works but it's not visually correct.

Support for Aoetec Repeater
When enrolled, the Aoetec Repeater shows as DimmerSwitch. Per the notes in "Adding Z-Wave Devices to your Controller & InControl," the device text can be changed to display "Repeater." However, the device drop down list doesn't seem to include a selection suitable for a repeater. Please consider adding support for the Repeater, or at least adding "Repeater" to the device drop list in a future version of InControl.

Run In System Tray
All InControl to run in system Tray. This would avoid accidentally closing the server.
10 votesDoes the ‘run as service’ option help out here? It’s found in tools/options/misc. You can turn it on then close the GUI and everything will continue to run.

InControl plugin for EventGhost
It's a very nice effect to have the lights turn on when pausing a movie and then returning back when resumed. All these hooks can be thrown into EventGhost to produce whatever it is that suits your needs.
Doing this with InControl is a bit kludgy (use 'curl' or 'InControlCmd'). It would be great to see something more user friendly i.e. an EventGhost plugin.

Create a Windows Home Server Add-In
I have InControl installed on my Windows Home Server. Currently, I have to remote desktop into the server in order to configure the InControl Server. It would be much simpler if there were an interface for the InControl Server in the Windows Home Server Dashboard. I'm running version 2011, but I'm sure that there are many out there running v.1 who would also love this feature.

Netatmo integration
Netatmo is a wifi-based environment monitor/weather sensor device, own temp, co2, air pressure etc. monitoring. Would be nice integrating in the home automation system, and attach rules for it.

Scene Interaction is slow on some computers
On slower or older computers, scene interaction can be slow. This would address the issue in an effort to optimize the behavior.

Squeezebox Integration
I know you already have integration with Sonos but Integration with Squeezebox and Squeeze server would be great. The squeezebox (although discontinued now) is a cheaper solution than Sonos and can be run on Pi's and other things as well.

Virtual Object Type for Virtual Devices
I'd love to see a "Virtual Switch" or something equivalent get added to the object types (Standard Switch, Dimmer Switch, Power Outlet, etc.), so they wouldn't show up in the mobile app as "Lights" or "Outlets." I use a fair number of virtual devices as toggles for statuses (Home, Awake, Vacation, Holiday, etc), so I need the ability to turn them on/off, but I'd love it if the "Lights" and "Outlets" groups on the mobile devices showed only physical devices, and instead all the virtual devices ended up in their own group.

Plex Remote Add In For Scene Control.
I'd like a Plex remote to be tied in with the Android and IOS apps to navigate Plex and activate scenes. Play to dim the lights, Pause and Stop to raise them. I believe this should be a nice user friendly way of accomplishing home theater automation with InControl.

Make "LevelDisplayer" objects optionally display as "Powered On" Devices
I have quite a few "LevelDisplayer" objects, and they always show up as Powered On Devices. Some people might like this, but I'd really rather they didn't show up in that list. I still want to be able to see their status on mobile devices, so I don't want to hide them, but I'm fine with looking under "Sensors" to see their values.

Horizontal orientation for iPhone app
Not sure if the Android app is the same but on iPhone, you can't turn the device on it's side and force the app to scale horizontally. It would be a nice feature if possible.

In app 3 the hidden devices show up as soon as I change a master switch that they are mirrored with. Please, keep them hidden all the time as it worked in app2
