Linear/GoControl QuickStick Combo Driver HUSBZB-1

To check if your GoControl QuickStick Combo has the correct drivers installed, you should do the following:
  1. Open the Device Manager
  2. Expand the section called "Ports (COM & LPT)"
  3. Look for an item called "HUBZ Z-Wave Com Port (COMx)"
The COM port you are using will be at the end of the line. It might say (COM4) for example -- which means you are on port 4. You can enter "4" into Axial Server's Tools/Options/Z-Wave Controller/COM port box.

If you don't see a "HUBZ Z-Wave Com Port" device listed, you may need to install drivers:
  1. Open your Axial Server folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\AxialControl.com\Axial Server\drivers\hubz)
  2. Run HUBZ_VCP_Installer_x64.exe if you are on a 64-bit system or run HUBZ_VCP_Installer_x86.exe if you are 32-bit.
  3. You may see a prompt saying that the drivers are not signed; go ahead and continue with the install.
For Windows 10

During install, you may run into an error about the installation failing. If you do, here are some steps to fix the problem:
  1. Restart PC
  2. Press F8 repeatedly just after UEFI/BIOS intialization and just before Windows would load
  3. Select “Disable driver signature enforcement” option.
  4. Install drivers. After you restart your system again you won’t be able to install unsigned drivers until you repeat the steps 1-3.
