An error occurred while saving the comment Tom commentedYou could achieve this with virtual switches too. Create one for each mode and have scenes interact with them.

We have finished a basic learning/programming solution for the Remotec z-wave AV device. If anyone has this, please contact me for a beta if you’d like to give it a go.

Very interested. Is there any wisdom to looking into a plugin that might work with the Logitech Home Control. Looks like it might integrate with existing home control systems.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tom commentedMine has always acted as a toggle. No matter what I select within the plugin for a specific device it will toggle the device. It's never been a problem for me. Have you tried running the "off" task while the device is already off?

An error occurred while saving the comment Tom commentedThis would be nice but we would need a way to turn this feature off as sometimes you want the scene to manually activate for testing purposes. I do have a solution to the issue you are having, through Tasker. It requires a good understanding of how to use variables, but you can create a task to check for the garage door sensor status and then apply that to an open and close task. Works perfectly as long as the sensor has registered the right info. :^)

An error occurred while saving the comment Tom commentedI agree full support and access would be awesome to have. TJ I've been using Tockle through Tasker to control a few things. I would rather not have to go through two different apps to control something. Full phone notification support would be nice too.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tom commentedI use a different relay to control the garage door. I'm not sure if this would cause interference since the relay will switch on and off before the tilt sensor registers a change and sends it's signal. I luckily haven't had to re-add the sensor to the network.
An error occurred while saving the comment Tom commentedI have the same issue. I would say I receive the sensor updates 70-80% of the time. My polling has always been disabled for this device.

As the Pi’s get more powerful, and the Windows OS embedded features get fuller, we’ll look into this again.
An error occurred while saving the comment Tom commentedJust had my InControl computer die on me over the holiday. CPU fan died and the computer shut down to protect itself. That was a real pain and it would be awesome to have InControl on a standalone unit. I would pay $100-150.
