Port InControl to Raspberry Pi (or other similar device)
This would provide the ability to use the Raspberry Pi as a z-wave controller for InControl. The device would simply plugin to your network and provide the same functionality available now with InControl.
If you are interested in this, please vote the idea up and leave us a comment about the price point at which you'd consider buying such a device.

Once finished, we’ll include this as an official release.

Add Actions to InControl - HTTP Get/POST, Run file, Run Script and more
This idea was started in the forums. For new Scenes, instead of just adding devices, have the ability to add other commands and removing the need for pre/post scripts.
Original post but a bit off topic: http://store.incontrolzwave.com/boards/topic/382/get-post-requests-with-c/page/1
Example image: http://imgur.com/tP5dbQw
In the Scene -> Devices tab, currently you can add devices and a pause. In the new actions you can add actions:
- Scripts (C# to replace pre/post)
- HTTP GET
- HTTP POST
- Run File
- Run other Scenes
This will hopefully really expand InControl to Home Automation, not just Z wave.Maybe even further the option to…

Custom Iconc/graphics
I would like to see a means of importing custom icons/graphics into InControl HA. This way a fireplace could look like a fireplace not a light bulb, a fan could look like a fan rather than an outlet etc. This would minimize confusion when using the software.

Provide backup & restore for InControl configuration
Add a Save/Open or Backup/Restore menu entry to the File menu so that the InControl configuration (all device/scenes/rooms/rules, etc.) content is backed up and available for restore in the event an erroneous change is made and the user wants to restore the previous configuration.

InControl plugin for EventGhost
It's a very nice effect to have the lights turn on when pausing a movie and then returning back when resumed. All these hooks can be thrown into EventGhost to produce whatever it is that suits your needs.
Doing this with InControl is a bit kludgy (use 'curl' or 'InControlCmd'). It would be great to see something more user friendly i.e. an EventGhost plugin.

Allow any IP camera to InControl
Right now it seems like Foscam is the only brand available to use but you should be able to specify the feed URL from the server app to add a view to the application.

Scenes should be able to "Activate" other scenes.
When creating a scene you should be able to specify other scenes that are activated along with it.
So you can take advantage of the new rules/conditions in scenes with more flexibility.
Example:
Activate Scene A “Leaving House”
Front Door Locked
Kitchen Light OFF
Activate Scene “Front Door Light”Scene B “Front Door Light”
CONDITION
IF Time > 16:00 ( 4:00 PM )
Front Light ON
Office Light ON
ENDSo you can see if I activate Scene A - My Door locks, my kitchen light is set to off & then it triggers scene B for my Front Door…
22 votesWe will do this in conjunction with this idea: http://incontrolha.uservoice.com/forums/218427-general/suggestions/5390053-add-actions-to-incontrol-http-get-post-run-file
Please post any followups there. Thanks!

BUG: Non Foscam cameras won't show snapshots
The camera appears to attempt to use the same Foscam URL instead of the one provided during setup. The camera also shows an error message inside the UI about being unable to query the Foscam URL.

Windows 10 Universal App
Windows 10 Universal (front end) would provide tablet, PC, mobile, and Xbox access, with minimal UI porting for platforms.
Additionally, voice commands could be built in for use with Cortana. Making the home truly automated.

Add support for all functionality of the DC1-ZW (Shades in Motion), DBMZ (Hunter Douglas) and Z-Wave to Digital Motor Int., ZDMI (Somfy)
Add more support for shade controllers. Currently devices are recognized as dimmer switches, but funtionality is limited to fully open or fully closed. Programming manual for the DC1-ZW can be found here: http://www.shadesinmotion.com/media/Z-Wave%20Controller%20Family%20Programming%20Manual.pdf

add the ability to add/remove lock codes to door locks via scenes
Currently you can only add/remove lock codes manually. By adding it to scene condition options you could setup time frames where codes work and don't work. i.e. The code for the housekeeper is only active on Thursdays from 8am-5pm.

Create an app package for a Synology NAS server running DSM.
Synology encourages 3rd-party app developers to create app packages for their Disk Station Manager OS running on their NAS servers. Synology offers free dynamic DNS hosting to owners, so mobile apps could function in spite of ISPs constantly changing user's IP addresses.
