  1. InControl for Smartwatch

    Just got the Samsung Gear smartwatch. It would be great to be able to use it to control my home automation. What are the chances?

  2. Expanded Weather Data - Overcast, Humidity, etc

    It'd be great if the "Weather" module would pull more weather data, things like Overcast or Cloud Cover %, so you use these to advance your lighting schedules. For weather/stats nerds, things like dew point, relative humidity, dry/wet bulb temperature, "feels like" temperature, and even heating/cooling indexes. This would let people get super granular with their profiles, so a day without a high air temperature, but a high humidity, the AC could be left on (aka a muggy day).

  3. Horizontal orientation for iPhone app

    Not sure if the Android app is the same but on iPhone, you can't turn the device on it's side and force the app to scale horizontally. It would be a nice feature if possible.

  4. Make "LevelDisplayer" objects optionally display as "Powered On" Devices

    I have quite a few "LevelDisplayer" objects, and they always show up as Powered On Devices. Some people might like this, but I'd really rather they didn't show up in that list. I still want to be able to see their status on mobile devices, so I don't want to hide them, but I'm fine with looking under "Sensors" to see their values.

  5. USB stick in modem port

    USB stick works with a laptop, maybe it can work in a modem port so internet will be ok?

  6. Support for Aoetec Repeater

    When enrolled, the Aoetec Repeater shows as DimmerSwitch. Per the notes in "Adding Z-Wave Devices to your Controller & InControl," the device text can be changed to display "Repeater." However, the device drop down list doesn't seem to include a selection suitable for a repeater. Please consider adding support for the Repeater, or at least adding "Repeater" to the device drop list in a future version of InControl.

  7. Add Force Poll to Android App

    I would like to be able to long-press a device and select to force poll it. Right now, only "Add as Favorite" is there. I have a finicky device, and being able to poll on demand from the device would be helpful to make sure I've got the right state.

  8. Expose a method where the incontrol service can be restarted remotely.

    Occasionally, my incontrol service has lost the connection to the usb stick it still reports the devices in the last state that they were in. and attempts top turn on or off a device appear to work. but he device is state is not changed. When this happens I have to shutdown the GUI if it is running, and stop and restart the Incontrol service. This is difficult to do when I am away from home.

  9. Split view for scenes - Triggers and Conditions visible.

    Now that Rules are going away, I'd love it if I could see both the triggers and the conditions for a Scene at the same time, perhaps one "window" stacked above the other.

    Or, alternately, an additional "summary" tab that would summarize all the settings in a scene, so you could easily see what a given scene is doing.

  13. ecolink garage door tilt sensor is not showing up in iphone app.

    My ecolink garage door tilt sensors are added to the network just find, and they are configured as binary sensor, they can show tripped/open on the PC incontrol server, but they are not showing up in iphone app, I looked everywhere, still don't find them.

  15. Bug:Upgraded to Windows 10 and now devices COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC.BASIC_GET fail

    Have only about 19 devices and since I've upgraded to Windows 10 I have to restart the InControl service at least once a day because i see in the logs that almost every device fails on COMMANDCLASSBASIC.BASIC_GET and then Polling gets disabled for nodeId x because of too many failed communication attempts, Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Version 4.0.5700.35111

  16. Sonos: Ability to specify sonos-groups

    It would be nice to be able to specify a group of sonos zone players, like you can do with the sonos controller. So for example if you wanted to play a specific mp3 throughout the entire house. Right now if you want to play a specific mp3 file throughout the house you have to select every zone player individually and because they fire off sequentially you end up hearing a delay.

  17. Add Enable/Disable Button to Scenes List

    Would like to see a toggle icon added to the Scenes list that would allow you to quickly enable or disables scenes. This would be much faster than opening up the triggers manually and disabling them.

    It would also be handy to be able to resort the scenes list without closing and reopening ICHA.

  18. Edit scenes for remotes directly

    I don't like not being able to see which scenes are assigned to which remotes. I have a half dozen remotes in my house, and I don't like that I don't know what scenes are assigned to them. I wish I could change them on the fly in software, and not have to go to each remote separately to change them. I'd rather be able to sit in front of my computer and choose the scenes each of the buttons controls.

  19. add an option to backup the software and all settings for recovery / computer transfer.

    Currently there is no way to backup the software in the case of a computer crash or transfer of all settings to a new system.
