InControl Channel for IFTTT App
Would be great to have IFTTT Channel for InControl so we can use location service and other service integrate with InControl. Right now Wemo, Philipps HUE, SmartThings do have existing channels so it would be great if InControl would also check this out and implment InControl Channel for IFTTT App71 votes
The “Make Channel” on IFTTT allows Axial Control to work. You can use the scene “Http Command” to interface with this channel.
Enable Echo “Alexa” to interface with Axial Server to be able to control the thermostat that appears in my device list.
Alexa already works with all the devices I currently have in my network, but it does not see my thermostat. Why not? I am using the Pro version software with the Alexa plugin.1 vote
The latest version (from early 2018) of the Alexa skill provides this ability.
Google Home Integration
I've been using Google Home for a few months now and I love it. It's basically like Amazon Echo, but I'm more of a Google person so it fits me better.
I would LOVE to see integration between Axial and Google Home. I'd buy another Home for every room in my house if I had that. It seems like they're very open to working with developers, too.
...PLEASE?!? :)7 votes
The Google home app is undergoing review currently and should be available soon.
Snag the smart home assistant plugin and you should be good to go once google gives us the green light (https://www.axialcontrol.com/Buy/product/amazon-echo)
Enable renaming of Scenes
I have several scenes that are fairly complex and their purpose has evolved over time. I cannot easily rename these scenes, I would have to create a new one and start from scratch.2 votes
Hi Luke – you can already rename a scene. Here’s some info: http://docs.incontrolha.com/home/scenes
Activate Scene based on Battery level
I'd like to be able to use a devices battery level to activate a scene. IE if my doorlock battery becomes 10 percent or less, then I am sent a push notification reminding me to change the batteries.1 vote
This is already possible; you can click the icon next to your battery report to create a virtual device. Using that virtual device as a trigger, you can execute a scene at a certain battery level.

Fix UI quirks
Aeon Labs Smart strips and outlet modules can provide power metering information, kWh and Watts. When viewing device details in the UI sometimes those two table entries exist, other times one or the other will disappear. Between times of correct display and incorrect display nothing else happens - no scenes have been triggered, no devices have been manually actuated, nothing. One moment the values are there, minutes or even an hour later, the table only shows Battery, no Electric, no Instant Watts. Then, an hour or so later one or both my suddenly reappear.2 votes
Could request additional notifications?1000/month is not enought! thanks1 vote
There’s a way to add 1000 more notifications to your account if you login to incontrolha.com and visit your notification section.
add an option under scenes/devices/Add Device for add send email notification.
This would be a way to send email without having to use a script. It could have subject/body variables, and possibly even to/from settings, and support substitution text.4 votes

Bug: ZStick with Incontrol sometimes contains Ghost Switches
I have ZStick series 2 with updated firmware in conjunction with most recent version of Incontrol. It is possible to have a non-functioning device in Incontrol that is impossible to delete without doing a complete stick reset. I have seen two causes for this. One night I noticed my front porch light was not turning on. I thought I may need to reset incontrol but that didn't make a difference. I could control all my other devices, but just not this one. I then took my ZStick, put it into add mode, then tried to add the switch back and it wouldn't take it. I then put the ZStick into delete mode, and I could then delete it and re-add it. So once I have my Incontrol updated, I now have 2 switches. One is a standardswitch which is my current front porch, and the other is my old "Front Porch" switch. So I delete my "Front Porch" from Incontrol and rename the other switch. At this point everything works again. I have to re-add the new "Front Porch" to my scenes. The problem is that when a netowrk update is recieved or a heal occurs another standard switch appears that is a ghost. It doesn't opperate anything or is real in any way, if I delete it, it will just come back. Zombie switch may have been a better description because they just don't die. In conjunction with another bug I posted, if I send a turn on command to the zombie switch, Incontrol will tell me that the zombie switch is on when it doesn't even exist. I don't know if this issues is in Incontrol or the Zstick. It has persisted over several updates for ZStick and Incontrol both. I have had this setup for 1.5 years and to this day I have this issue. My guess is having a way to delete a device out of the ZStick without that device being present may be the best approach. I have also had this issue when trying to add new devices to the network. Thanks!

Schlage Lock Support
Full support for Schlage z-wave (nexia) supported locks is a must. These are very popular locks and have very limited support from InControl. Basically just lock/unlock are currently supported which is really a disappointment considering how many features these locks have and how popular they are. Full support for the FE599NX and the BE469NX, would be a great start. These being the 2 most popular of the z-wave capable Schlage locks.17 votes

Push Notifications for IOS
I would like to see push notifications with custom alert sounds for the iOS apps. This makes alerting on open and motion sensors more useful.27 votes
Have the IC app produce notifications on your phone/tablet. Alerting you to events such as doors opening, motion detected and allowing you to launch right into the app. The ability to control what triggers a notification will be good. This ability will really be key if IC plans to add any cool features that could become available through the new Android Wear!!21 votes
Available now as a beta test from the Google+ test group. Will also be generally available in the 4.0 release. Requires the paid Android app and version 4.0+ of InControl.
Nest Thermastat Plug-in and Intergration
It has wifi built into it and is already on my network. Their mobile phone app is fine, but it would be so much better having it all in my InControl HA. The Nest is full of useful information and controls.6 votes

Lock events user codes/IDs to be sent back to InControl.
One of the main functions that drive most people to Z-wave is specific notifications. All of the services that are being deployed focus on key selling points, and one of these is "user" specific notifications. Child #1 is home, Child #2 is home, and so on.
I would say in the lock code set location, an entry be added for a "text" name. When this event is sent to InControl, the name variable can be pulled into the alert.5 votes

Please add IR functionality to your software. I would think people trying to integrate home automation won't want to use a remote or different application to control all there equipment using IR.1 vote
